Roadmap · Q4 2026 — Q2 2028

Where we are going, and what has to be true first.

This is our plan by quarter. The first quarter is underway. Every quarter after the pilot review depends on what the pilot proves. Where a step needs legal, supplier or technical clearance, we mark it. If a gate is not met, the timeline moves — we would rather tell you that now.

Q4 2026

We are here

Getting ready

  • Secure a lighthouse employer and its Yard handover point

    Hypothesis
  • Sign laundry, ironing and in-home cleaning providers

    Hypothesis
  • Clear payments, consumer terms and bag custody processes

    Gated
  • Build the end-to-end slice: employer portal, employee app, operations

    Confirmed
  • Run a full Yard dry run before any employee uses it

    Confirmed

Gate

Readiness review

Employer site signed, providers contracted, payments and custody tested, and one complete paid journey observed in rehearsal. If not, the pilot start moves.

Q1 2027

Lighthouse pilot

  • One employer, one Yard point: laundry and ironing

    Hypothesis
  • In-home cleaning with Tax AI deduction estimates

    Hypothesis
  • Measure activation, first booking and contribution per order

    Confirmed
  • Impact Records on every completed task

    Confirmed

Gate

Pilot review: go, iterate or pause

Activation, first bookings, repeat use, tax accuracy and contribution per order are measured against published thresholds. A failure on safety, payments, privacy or legal pauses everything else, whatever the other numbers say.

Q2 2027

Learning and widening

Conditional on the reviews and clearances above

  • Fix what the pilot showed, before adding anything new

    Confirmed
  • Carpet, alterations and shoe care join Yard as providers sign

    Gated
  • One-time service gifts, once legal clearance is in place

    Gated
  • Free external invoice scanner: Vero-ready documents, never auto-filed

    Hypothesis

Gate

Founding 50 go/no-go

Founding 50 opens only after sustained service quality and positive economics at the lighthouse site. Employer enthusiasm alone does not open it.

Q3 2027

Founding 50 Employers

Conditional on the reviews and clearances above

  • First cohort of employers joins, with capped launch offers

    Hypothesis
  • Additional Yard sites where order density supports them

    Hypothesis
  • Authorized Vero reporting for qualifying network services

    Gated
  • Recurring service gifts, such as monthly laundry

    Gated

Q4 2027

Building density

Conditional on the reviews and clearances above

  • Founding 50 programme expands across the Helsinki region

    Hypothesis
  • Route planning that consolidates pickups across sites

    Hypothesis
  • Saviour challenges and opt-in leagues

    Hypothesis
  • Impact comparisons, only where a credible baseline exists

    Ambition

Q1 2028

Broader gifting and larger employers

Conditional on the reviews and clearances above

  • Multi-site employers with separate Yard points

    Hypothesis
  • Group gifting, several senders funding one service

    Gated
  • Physical gift cards through retail partners

    Gated

Q2 2028

Looking beyond Helsinki

Conditional on the reviews and clearances above

  • Assess Sweden, where the RUT deduction applies, and Estonia

    Ambition
  • Independent review of selected impact metrics

    Ambition
  • Explore autonomous delivery partners on dense Yard routes

    Ambition
  • SDG indicator mapping on every Impact Record

    Ambition

This roadmap is reviewed after every gate. When something moves, we update this page and say what changed.
